Do you health test?
Yes we absolutely do! Our parent dogs receive genetic health testing, coat and color testing. Puppies will be examined by our vet prior to going home & families will receive certification that they are healthy & free from any evidence of diseases or abnormalities. Puppies will be up to date on vaccinations and treatment for internal parasites and they come with a written two-year health guarantee.
Can you guarantee adult weight?
Unfortunately no. We do not guarantee adult weight. We do our very best to estimate size however there are a lot of factors and genetics that play into it sizing that is not in our control. Our puppies sometimes end up smaller or bigger than the estimated range.
How do i choose my puppy if I live out of state?
We do puppy selection at 6 weeks of age. We will send weekly pictures and videos a long the way so you can watch them grown. We also do temperament testing to better match families with the energy levels they need.
Do your puppies come with breeding rights?
No. We place all puppies as PETS ONLY. We require your puppy be spayed or neutered by 1 year.
What's included with my puppy?
- A 2 year genetic health guarantee.
- 30 days free pet insurance through Trupanion
- All vaccinations up to date. They receive their first round at 6-7 weeks and will need their second at 9-10 weeks.
- De-wormed at least 4 times(we do them every two weeks or as many as needed before you take your puppy home).
- A puppy starter package. This includes a bag of our preferred food, a mama-scented blanket, a couple toys, a Snuggle puppy and bandana.
- Puppies will be started basic potty training and crate training. (They are litter box/pad trained while in my home)
- LIFETIME Breeder support
How do I get a puppy if I live out of state?
If you live out of state there are a couple options for pickup
1. You can fly into the SLC, Utah airport where we will meet you and you can fly your puppy home with you. This is a wonderful option and provides a bonding experience.
2. We can arrange for one of our flight nannies to fly your puppy directly to your nearest airport where you’ll meet them for pickup. They are all super amazing at what they do and provide a great experience for your puppy. Cost will be based on where you are located and what ticket prices are at the time.
How do I adopt a puppy?
You have a few choices when adopting a Cavapoo from us, but first, you must fill out our Puppy Adoption Application to begin your adoption process. We will then contact you by email letting you know if you have been approved to adopt one of our puppies.
If approved, you will have the option to make a deposit and tell us whether you want to reserve a picking spot in an upcoming litter, or choose from the available puppies we have on our site from time to time.
Upon occasion, we also have fully trained maltipoos available that you can reserve as well.
Can you tell me more about your business?
Designer Cavapoos is the premiere breeder and trainer of Cavapoos. Our breeding standards include taking care of and loving our parents. They are a part of our family and live with us in our home.
We also offer obedience training that is specialized for the Designer breeds. Our puppy training programs include socializing Cavapoos with other dogs, basic obedience commands like sit, stay, lay down, kennel, walking on a leash, and house training.
What is your adoption process?
Puppies are only available to approved depositors. Start by filling out a Puppy Application.
Once you are approved and have placed a deposit, you have a couple of options:
You can adopt any available puppy
You can place your name on our Master List of Depositors
Once we receive your deposit, your name will be added to the depositor master list. When we announce a new litter, we’ll notify you by email of the opportunity to transfer from the general master list to the specific litter. The email will contain a link to the page with a form to apply to place your name on that specific litter. If you do not want a puppy from the litter that we announce, you can ignore the email and wait for the next litter announcement. Keep in mind that some of our depositors are waiting for specific litters, colors, genders, etc. So even if you are #30 on our master list you could still have a chance at getting on any litter that we announce if the people ahead of you are not interested in getting a puppy from that litter.
